Part-Time Project Assistant/Permits-Sunroom Division

Jacob Sunrooms, Exteriors & Baths is a family-owned company in business since 1977 and we are looking for a part-time Project Assistant in our Sunroom Division. This position will mainly focus on the permitting process and other tasks needed to support the Project Manager. This position is perfect for someone who is looking for only a few shifts per week with an opportunity for growth if interested.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

  • Applying for deck and sunroom permits
    • Do a plot drawing off the parcel viewer website for each county.
    • Draw up deck/concrete plan.
    • Get drawing and compile documents for permit (Every county/city is slightly different.)
    • Get PO from QuickBooks for the permit.
  • Call and schedule inspections
    • Some are online, others will need to be called in.
  • Call in and Julie locate the jobs.
    • Illinois and Missouri locates are both online.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Compensation: $20 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Job Type: Part-Time, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4/5 PM as needed (Flexible)

Work Location: The service area is within approximately 60 60-mile radius of the St. Louis Arch.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Driver’s License.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent Time Management Skills with flexibility.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills, including planning each week and each day.
  • Ability to follow established administrative procedures.
